AluExcel – Aluminium Landscape Edging

The ultimate edge restraint for hard landscape surfaces, whether it be asphalt, resin bonded or loose gravel, blocks, bricks or paving slab.

Made from 6005A grade recycled aluminium, AluExcel is strong, flexible, smart and discreet. Ideal for a surface edge finish which needs a full thickness of material without roughness, cracking and spilling over into adjoining areas.

AluExcel is an excellent choice of landscape edging for specifiers and contractors alike due to its simple effectiveness, clean lines and speed of installation. The strength and environmental benefits of aluminium over concrete are well recognised making AluExcel the No.1 choice in aluminium landscape edging.

Available in 40mm, 50mm, 75mm, 100mm, 120mm and 150mm heights, AluExcel is able to perform perfectly straight lines by incorporating a “bar” at the base of the profile. To create curves, simply cut the bar where required using good quality metal cutters.

Does AluExcel require a concrete foundation and haunch?

In most instances this is not required and is one of the key advantages of this product. Due its unique angled design this product has been successfully installed in numerous projects without any concrete support. In unusual circumstances concrete foundations could be required – please contact our technical team for more information.

Is this available in different colours?

We offer a powder coated range of AluExcel to ensure you have the perfect fit for your environment. We use the Dulux range of powder coating, meaning we can just about always get the perfect colour for the environment you are working in.

What is the minimum radius I can achieve with the AluExcel product?

This does vary depending on which height of edging you are using. Typically all edging heights in the AluExcel range should be able to achieve a 1500mm radius, and some of the smaller heights can successfully achieve tighter radii. Please note that this does not apply to symmetrical shapes or circles as these are more difficult to achieve successfully by hand. We are able to offer a full pre-forming service on symmetrical or intricate designs – please contact our technical team.
