Cirtex has worked to develop a range of SiltFence accessories that allow quick and effective installation of SiltFence, Super SiltFence and Barrier Mesh compliant with local regulations.
STEEL Y POSTS
Robust and reusable posts to support Cirtex® SiltFence, Super SiltFence, Barrier Mesh and for many other applications around the site.
Supplied with a black bitumen coating to protect against erosion on site, they are used for a wide range of applications including Pond Decant Systems.
Cirtex Steel Y Posts are punched with holes as shown. The holes in the 1.35m, 1.5m and 1.8m posts are situated to work with SiltFence, Super SiltFence and Barrier Mesh. The 0.5m and 0.75m posts have a range of holes allowing them to be used as a fast reusable alternative to timber pegs when installing boxing for concrete etc.
Along with the Steel Y Posts we also have the safety caps available which are compatible with all size Y Posts.

SAFETY CAPS
Safety caps are compatible with all Cirtex® Y Posts and help enhance the visibility of the posts.
Cirtex Safety Caps are placed on top of Steel Y Posts, the caps are UV stabilised and reduce the risk of cuts and abrasions from exposed post ends.

SILTFENCE PINS & CLIPS
Cirtex® has worked to develop a range of SiltFence accessories that allow quick and effective installation of SiltFence, Super SiltFence and Barrier Mesh compliant with local regulations.
- SiltFence Clips simply clip together over the wire to secure the fabric. Being made from heavy duty polyethylene they will last up to 10 years.
- SiltFence pins provide a quick, easy and effective way to secure the SiltFence and Super SiltFence mesh to the wire.

Wire
Cirtex supplies wire in both high tensile and soft in 2mm and 2.5mm diameter. Wire is used in conjunction with SiltFence, Super SiltFence and Barrier Mesh to give the support needed.
The use of high tensile wire with SiltFence allows the Y Post spacings to be increased (refer to your local authority guidelines). Soft wire is also used for SiltFence, Super SiltFence and Barrier mesh along with many other applications around the site.
